Itinerary
Day 1: Broome to Fitzroy Crossing (L, D)
This morning we set off on our journey heading north to Willare Bridge, we cross the mighty Fitzroy River, before arriving at Fitzroy Crossing. We travel out to Geikie Gorge to enjoy a picnic lunch before joining the National Park Ranger for a fascinating cruise through Geikie Gorge down the Fitzroy River, spot geological sea fossils, crocodiles, exotic birds and other native animals. From here it's only a short drive to the Fitzroy River Lodge for our overnight stay. Tonight get to know your fellow travellers while enjoying a campfire barbecue dinner.

Day 2: Fitzroy Crossing to Bungle Bungle Ranges (B, L, D)
Today we set off along the Great Northern Highway passing through Halls Creek; we make a brief stop at the unusual geological formation, China Wall. Its time now to tackle the rugged road into the Purnululu National Park, recently listed as a World Heritage site, this spectacular wilderness park is the home of the Bungle Bungle Ranges. More than 20 million years of erosion and river movements have formed these huge black and orange striped domes. This afternoon enjoy an easy paced walk into the stunning Echidna Chasm, known for its towering Livistonia Palms. Settle into our safari camp for the night, located in the heart of this World Heritage wilderness.
Accommodation: Bungle Bungle Bushcamp, Safari tents, share bathroom facilities. Please note there are no facilities to charge camera's etc (no power points) at Bungle Bungle Bushcamp.
Day 3: Bungle Bungles to Kununurra (B, L)
This morning time is allowed for an optional scenic helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungles (approx. $295 pp, own expense). Experience the thrill of taking off in a helicopter and flying over the Bungles with views into incredible ravines and gorges below. Continue back along the Bungles track to Kununurra.

BUNGLE BUNGLE UPGRADE
Upgrade to a scenic flight from the Bungle Bungles to Kununurra. For those who do not want to travel back over the rugged road from the Bungles to Kununurra can take the opportunity to further explore and add-on a scenic flight. Be met by a light aircraft at the Bungle Bungles airstrip for aerial sightseeing of the Bungle Bungles, Argyle Diamond Mine, Ord River and massive Lake Argyle before you land in Kununurra. A transfer to the hotel to meet up with your tour group is included. Minimum 2 passenger, approx. $270 per person.
Day 4: Kununurra to El Questro Wilderness Park Via Wyndham (B, L, D)
Join a cruise this morning from Kununurra up the Ord River to Lake Argyle, afterwards visit the Ord River Irrigation Scheme plantations and Ivanhoe Crossing. Leaving Kununurra travel toward the coast and visit the historic port town of Wyndham. From Five Rivers Lookout enjoy afternoon tea and breathtaking views of the port and the five rivers King, Pentecost, Durack, Forrest and Ord which all flow into Cambridge Gulf. Later set off along the infamous Kimberley stock route the Gibb River Road through the Cockburn Ranges to Voyages El Questro Wilderness Park. Marvel at the stunning scenery and rugged ranges that formed the dramatic backdrop for Baz Luhrmans epic movie Australia. Our accommodation at Emma Gorge is in deluxe tented cabins set in the tranquil surrounds of Emma Gorge. This afternoon enjoy a cold beer or a swim in the pool before dinner.

Day 5: El Questro to Home Valley Station (B, L, D)
Enjoy an early morning walk (easy) to Zebedee Hot Springs, bring your bathers and soak in the thermal springs, surrounded by lush ferns and palms. We briefly rejoin the Gibb River Road passing through the Pentecost Ranges, arriving at Home Valley Station (cattle station/farm) for lunch and our overnight stay in the Grass Castles. Home Valley is ideally located at the foot of the spectacular Cockburn Range and is bordered by the mighty Pentecost and Durack Rivers. This afternoon is free to relax or explore the some 700,000 acres of natural wilderness found on Home Valley Station, including a swim at Bindoola Falls, discover New York Valley or canoe on Bindoola Creek. Otherwise you may like to join one of the stations activities including fishing, horse riding, twitchers tour or the star gazers experience after dinner (own expense, reservations are accepted while on tour). We finish the day with champagne and cheese as you watch the sun set over the Pentecost River and Cockburn Range. Tonight enjoy dinner and some Kimberley hospitality and live music in the legendary Dusty Bar and Grill.

Day 6: Home Valley Station Activities (B, L, D)
This morning following a hearty station breakfast, wander down to the stables were we have arranged a very special and unique experience. Home Valleys resident horseman (JR) will provide an informative talk and demonstration on horse training and horsemanship. Following morning tea either enjoy the afternoon at leisure (laze by the pool or relax under a tree with a good book) or choose one of the optional Station activities including Barra Fishing, Bird Watching, Day Spa or Aboriginal Cultural Talk (own expense). Tonight enjoy dinner in the Dusty Bar and Grill.

Day 7: Home Valley Station to Kununurra (B)
After breakfast you have the morning to relax and enjoy the tranquility that Home Valley has to offer before your road transfer back to Kununurra. Please note your road transfer time will be advised the day prior, if you have a special request please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Additional Booking Information:
Accessing Tunnel Creek walk involves 20 metres of clambering over boulders and 700 metres of wading through knee to thigh high water (shorts are ideal). Strap on sandals or old sand shoes must be worn through the water to protect from the rocky creek bed. To safely navigate the Tunnel passengers must be able to walk and balance themselves independently on uneven ground. Flashlights and limited footwear is provided. Rate includes Remote Area Protection Plan (RAPP).
