From the charm of Darwin to the sparkling blue waters of Broome. The rugged beauty of ‘The Kimberley' is something very special. Highlights include: Darwin*, Kununurra, Bungle Bungles, Geike Gorge, Broome*, Gibb River Road, Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Bell Gorge, Galvins Gorge, Barnett River Gorge, King Edward River, Mitchell Falls, Drysdale Station, El Questro, Kununurra, Darwin*
Itinerary
Day 1
Travel from Darwin is by Luxury Greyhound Coach - Departs the terminal at Mitchell Street Darwin at 7.15am. Pass through Adelaide River, Katherine, Victoria River and Hunter Creek before arriving in Kununurra at about 6.15pm. A relaxing evening and dinner while you meet your travelling companions.
Day 2 
Today we depart Kununurra and head towards the Bungle Bungles. Along the way we may cross the river at Ivanhoe Crossing or stop at the Warmun Art Centre to view art by the local indigenous artists. The track into Purnululu National Park is Four Wheel Drive Only - a slow but scenic trip as we approach the wonder of the Bungle Bungles. We set up camp and then do a bit of exploring before drinks at sunset - another day you'll never forget!
Day 3
Echidna Chasm, Frog Hole, Mini Palms Gorge, Picanniny Creek, Cathedral Gorge are our options today - we are in the midst of The Bungle Bungles and there is plenty to see and do. You might also take the optional helicopter flight (additional cost) and experiance the magic from the air.
Day 4
We negotiate our way back over the 4WD track to the main highway and head to Fitzroy Crossing. This part of the East
Kimberley is very scenic and opportunities to take photos present themselves at many places. An optional river cruise (additional cost) is available to explore Geike Gorge just out of Fitzroy Crossing. Tonight we camp at ‘ The Lodge' after a swim in the hotel pool.
Day 5
The next leg of our journey takes us to beautiful tropical Broome. Along the way we see the Fitzroy River, huge Boab trees and keep our eyes open for the local wildlife. We pause our journey on the shores of the Indian ocean and then get dropped off at your accommodation.

Day 6
Explore Broome at your leisure, there are many things to see and do in Broome. We suggest you visit the Broome Visitors Centre in town and find out about the many optional tours and activities that Broome has to offer. You may just want to 'kick back' on Cable Beach and enjoy the tropical heat and sunshine!! All activities in Broome are optional and are not included in the tour price. Breakfast is provided before your days
activities.
Day 7
Another free day in Broome to enjoy the tropical lifestyle.
Day 8
We depart Broome and head up Highway One, crossing the mighty Fitzroy River, before morning tea at Willare Bridge roadhouse. We then continue on to see the Prison Boab tree at the start of the Gibb River Road. We continue on to Windjana Gorge for our next night under canvas.
Day 9
We head out early and go and explore Tunnel Creek
- a 750 metre cave walk through the anicent Devonian reef system. We then continue along ‘The Gibb', crossing the King Leopold Range and heading into ‘cattle-country'. We take a walk into the spectacular Bell Gorge where we can have a refreshing swim before we head to Silent Grove bush campsite for the night.
Day 10
We depart and after a scenic drive and a stop for a swim at Galvin's Gorge, we end up at Mt Barnett campsite and walk into the Manning Gorge. Take time to explore, view Aboriginal Rock art and swim in the pools near the falls. We camp tonight next to the tranquil pools of the lower Manning.
Day 11
We continue East along the Gibb River Road until we veer North up the Kalumburu Road. On our journey today we cross the Gibb River and stop in at Drysdale Cattle Station. You have the opportunity here to do an optional scenic flight (additional cost) that takes you over the Kimberley Coastline and the Mitchell Falls
. A few quiet drinks at Annie's bar and another night in this beautiful part of the world.
Day 12
Today we make our way to Home Valley Station and do some "croc-spotting" on the banks of the Pentecost River. Home Valley Station has just had a major refurbishment and is an "oasis" in the middle of this harsh environment.
Day 13
We continue the adventure as we make our way back down to the Gibb River Road and into the famous El Questro Station.
We cross the Pentecost River and explore the gorges. A relaxing evening under the stars completes another day of this ‘Adventure of a Lifetime'.
Day 14
After breakfast, we head into the hot Zebedee Springs for a relaxing ‘spa'! - Relax and enjoy the scene that nature created. We then explore the El Questro Gorge, swim in the crystal clear water of the rock-pools or head to the waterfall for an exhilarating, refreshing swim. We finally leave the Gibb River Road and arrive in Kununurra before evening.
Day 15
After an early breakfast you transfer from our 4 Wheel Drive Off-Road Vehicle to a Luxury Greyhound Coach and complete the rest of your journey into the Northern Territory arriving in Darwin at about 10.00pm local time.
