Private small group tours

accommodated small group tours

Imagine flying with Qantas to Los Angeles, on an Airbus, in economy. Now imagine flying in a private jet, with 4 other passengers, and your pilot is sitting in the seat in front of you giving a commentary as you go. Oh - it just so happens that the Pilot lives in Los Angeles and knows the area like the back of his hand. Do these 2 experiences compare? At all?

A small group tour of Australia's magnificent Kimberley region is incomparable, and unforgettable. You will visit the highlights that all of the others visit (without the crowds) and other places that they don't get to visit because they are slowed down by the larger tour group.

Imagine walking into a pristine gorge, having it all to yourself (sharing with only a few other people), then as you walk out a group of 20 are walking in. Imagine sitting in a cave looking at Aboriginal art, crowded together with 20 other people. Hang on, make that 15. Five are still ten minutes behind. Imagine having a tour guide who has lived and worked in the Kimberley before the other tour companies had even visited the region (yes, we were here before APT arrived).

your guide

Having spent many years in Broome, tour guide Bruce Connell has re-located to Kununurra in the East Kimberley where he operates tours and provides a meet and greet service to clients arriving by cruise boat into Wyndham. Kununurra is the gateway to many of the Kimberley's attractions, such as the Bungle Bungles, El Questro and the Gibb River Road. There are daily flights from Broome and Darwin.

Bruce has been running 4wd tours in the Kimberley region for many years now and is very familiar with the places and faces that really make each trip special. As a local, you can expect fantastic first hand knowledge. Many other tour companies employ guides who work in the Kimberley for a couple of years and then leave - Bruce has now been touring the Kimberley for over 10 years.

Bruce does a lot of volunteer work with Aboriginal communities around the East Kimberley and is especially interested in indigenous culture. He has worked with many other tour coperators and television shows such as Getaway.
