Itinerary

Day 1: Sat. Kununurra.
Arrive in Kununurra and transfer to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the local township of Kununurra - the gateway to the Kimberley. Two Night Stay: NEW! Kununurra, Country Club Resort.

Day 2: Sun. Kununurra Town Tour.
Spend the morning at your leisure. This afternoon, join a town tour of Kununurra. Bx1

Day 3 Mon. Five Rivers Lookout, El Questro.
In Wyndham, see the region’s waterways merging with the Indian Ocean at Five Rivers Lookout. Travel to El Questro Wilderness Park.  Two Night Stay: El Questro, Emma Gorge Resort, tented cabins with private ensuites. Bx1 Dx1

Day 4 Tue. El Questro, Freedom of Choice Touring.
Choose to relax with a picnic hamper at Emma Gorge Resort, join the Bush Tucker and Historical Tour or cruise through Chamberlain Gorge, a fresh waterhole fringed by tropical vegetation. Bx1 Dx1

Day 5: Wed. Lirrgarn Argyle Diamond Mine, Halls Creek, China Wall.
Tour one of the world’s largest diamond mines, the Lirrgarn Argyle Diamond Mine, responsible for one-third of the world’s diamond supply including the rare pink diamond. At Halls Creek stop to see China Wall which lines the surrounding hills and meets a tranquil river valley. Stay: Halls Creek, Kimberley Hotel. Bx1 Lx1 Dx1

Day 6: Thur. Geikie Gorge Cruise with Ranger.
In Geikie Gorge National Park, join the local ranger for a guided cruise of the gorge, with its striking limestone walls created by the gorge’s annual flooding during wet season. This is one of Australia’s most spectacular waterways and home to an abundance of wildlife, including freshwater crocodiles, fruit bats, wallabies, dingoes and many species of bird. Continue on to Fitzroy Crossing. Stay: Fitzroy Crossing, Fitzroy River Lodge. Bx1 Dx1

Day 7: Fri. Windjana Gorge, Boab Prison Tree.
Travel to Windjana Gorge National Park where a short walk leads in to the gorge. See ancient marine fossils embedded in the gorge walls. Look out for freshwater crocodiles and local birdlife. Inspect the Boab Prison Tree where Aboriginals were held when they resisted European control and visit Derby’s striking circular wharf. Two Night Stay: Broome, Cable Beach Club Resort, the only hotel right on Cable Beach. Bx1

Day 8: Sat. Broome, Freedom of Choice Touring, Ocean Sunset, Dine Around Dinner.
Choose between a hovercraft flight over the Roebuck Bay mudflats, a Pearl Lugger museum tour or a sunset camel ride on Cable Beach. Take in a famous Cable Beach sunset, before our Dine Around Dinner this evening. Bx1 Dx1

Day 9 Sun. Depart Broome.
Farewell beautiful Cable Beach as your tour concludes with a transfer to the airport. Bx1
